03 - PLANNING
The starting point: a trust-based decision
1. Conceptual and detailed interior design
Based on the client's needs, we envisioned a home that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, reflecting Salt Design's timeless yet unique and fresh style.
2. Budget planning
We prepared a full, detailed budget, with separate breakdowns for procurement and construction costs. All items were agreed in advance, working transparently and with accurate figures.
04 - CALLS
One of the peculiarities of the project was that the client was often abroad, so the whole process had to be solved through remote collaboration. This required a high level of organisation, constant communication and flexibility - which the Salt Design team provided.
05 - MANAGEMENT
Our client didn't need to coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers or subcontractors - we handled everything.
3. Total procurement management
We managed every single element on the basis of the agreed budget - on time, on quality and on budget. The client didn't need to negotiate with separate manufacturers, suppliers or shops, we managed everything.
4. Execution management - with a single point of contact
We were the sole point of contact during the renovation and construction - the client could contact us with any questions. We coordinated the professionals, monitored the deadlines and ensured that the project was carried out exactly as we had jointly envisioned.
06 - RESULTS
The result: a lovable, personal space - without all the unnecessary stress
The finished home strikes the right balance between practicality and aesthetics, and is truly tailored to the client's life. The writer and her son now have a home to live in during their stay in Budapest that is inspiring, calming and every bit their world - presented through the Salt Design style.
07 - PROJECT CLOSURE
We ended the handover of the completed apartment with a joint celebration - cake and champagne. This celebrated not only the completion of the home, but also the trust we had built together.
